Container gardening—what does that mean?

Is it a fad?  Is it a miracle?  Most importantly, is it something that you can do in your own garden?

Please join the Deep Roots Project for an informative and exciting workshop on growing your veggies in containers and raised beds.  Dan Gibbs will lead the workshop where you will learn:

• How to grow veggies in large raised beds

• How to grow veggies and small containers

• Benefits of container growing

• The best soil blend for large and small containers

• Watering tips

• Which veggies thrive in containers

• Common pests

• Nutrition tips for a thriving garden

• Tips on growing our favorite 22 veggie varieties from seedlings

Our spring to fall workshops will go into more detail about the topics Dan will briefly cover on March 3.

• Order veggie seedlings Feb 11 to March 6 for spring and summer planting. We also sell organic spinach seeds. Seedlings and seeds will be ready to pickup at the Good Earth Greenhouse in River Forest the week you should plant them. The varieties are the  best for our area and were selected by Dan Gibbs.
