$75.00 per hour per worker with a minimum labor order of 2 hours.  A 2-hour labor order will give you 2 workers for one hour.

NOTE: This page is for EXTRA garden work, NOT for the labor that is included in your purchases of raised beds, mulch, and compost (e.g. filling a bed purchased from us with compost or dropping off in piles bulk mulch or compost in up to 3 areas in your yard).  If you need more areas for your mulch or compost; or need spreading; or more than 3 8'x4' beds filled with compost or mulch, then you will need labor.  We offer a variety of other garden work.  If you think you might need some assistance in your yard – we’d be happy to discuss the job with you and give you a cost estimate.

PAYMENT

Please review your order with Customer Support BEFORE payment. Contact Customer Support at 708-655-5299 or orders[at]deep-roots-project.org to ask any questions and to review your order prior to payment. Orders can be placed online with credit card payment OR they can be placed by phone or email. Checks are welcome: mail a check to Deep Roots Project, 323 S. East Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302.

Distance fees: We don’t charge driving time if you are in the Oak Park area. There is an added fee if you are located 2 miles or more from Oak Park.

Deposit required: Please pay a deposit of $50 before the work begins and pay the rest after the work is completed.

Some examples of General Garden Labor that we can provide a quote for:

• Moving a pre-existing raised bed to a different location

• Setting up a compost bin

• Digging out plants in a spot where you want to place a raised bed

• Setting up a trellis

• Removing rotted boards from an old raised bed before installing a new raised bed around the old soil.
