Varnish is done in our workshop before we deliver a cedar bed to your yard. Includes one coat of chemical-free varnish on the outside of the cedar bed. The varnish retains the original cedar colors longer and protects from rotting. Cedar is also naturally rot resistant and lasts longer than pine/fir raised beds.
